Boost productivity with these mobile applications!

Living in an age of uber-cool smartphones has helped us manage our daily routine better. Whether you use an Android or iPhone, you can download many third-party applications that help you get more out of your day.

With a number of these mobile apps at your fingertips, maximizing productivity is a breeze.

Be it arranging blocks of digital records across drag-and-drop interfaces, or having your digital assistant set up reminders for you, it’s only a matter of a few seconds.

I’ve personally used some of these apps to schedule and manage work, and it has proved to be incredibly useful. Some of the notable ones are:

Evernote:

Evernote allows you to take and organize notes. Not only can you access your notes from your phone, but with an Evernote account, you can use them from anywhere with an internet connection.

The app itself is free and offers 60 MB of storage space, but you can upgrade to 10 GB of space for less than $3/month.

WriteRoom:

An interesting app that blocks e-mail popups, and other distractions on your computer screen and compels you to focus on writing alone. It is exclusive to Mac.

Any.do:

Any.do is one of the best organizers out there. It’s quite simple to use and comes with a host of features on its premium plan that starts at $2.99/month(billed annually).

You can set location-based reminders (available with the premium plan), and set up recurring tasks.

Blinkist:

Ever wanted an app that could provide a short summary of the book you wanted to read?

For those of us who have relatively less time on hand to be able to read a book from cover to cover, Blinkist is the answer. It gives you the crux of a book quickly and even reads it back to you.

It covers a variety of non-fiction and several other categories of books, and has a basic as well as a paid feature.

With the basic plan, you get a daily free read. They also offer a free trial for a premium yearly plan. Monthly subscriptions start at $12.99/month. As a book lover, what more could you ask for?

Noisli:

Noisli lets you enjoy some ambient sounds to feel relaxed while working. I’ve personally used this app and have found it to be quite soothing.

It has a range of sounds to choose from and you can even combine them to create fresh tunes!

Airtable:

I’ve just only started using Airtable. This spread-sheet like tool offers a complete solution that helps you add, store and share information across teams.

The best part is that you can get a lot out of this tool even with their basic free plan! Premium plans start at $ 10/month. A lot of companies are using Airtable now.

Stop, Breathe and Think:

Mindfulness is a key trait that helps you feel relaxed, feel better and improve productivity. There are several meditation apps that offer free versions, while some others have a paid feature.

I’ve used Stop, Breathe and Think and it has been a nice experience with over 50 guided meditation sessions. It comes with free and paid versions.

These apps are really simple to use and saved me a ton of organizing. Which ones do you use? If you have other favorites, let us know about those too!

Hope you enjoyed reading this post!
