If you’ve ever watched a cheerleading routine, you’ve probably seen how a girl goes down or, in proper cheering jargon, “dismounts” from a lift. The lifters pop her up, giving her about 1.5 seconds of air suspension, and then she twists her body, does a full turn, then perfectly lands in her lifters’ arms in a cradle position.
