Why I Quit Marketing to Be a Writer
I wasn’t ‘following my dreams’
Right out of college, I joined the start-up world in Austin, Texas. I was a dreamer and I didn’t want to have a normal career. I worked my ass off in sales to get to the point where I could work in marketing. When I finally got everything I wanted, I knew I had to quit.
