Reconnaissance with LIVE4

So many social networks of all types. And every day we can find some new original concepts. I will try to explore the most famous of them to watch, how LIVE4 service can be used with it. What unique “top features” can we use for LIVE4 social network detonation!!?

These will be not only test accounts, these will be GoPro LIVE Streaming thematic blogs.

I Started from Twitter and made a fighter blog. Anton gave advice to me to use this blog as “One link to watch Event” for Battle of the Nations championship. It’s really good idea! Thank you!

By the way! Some branded with LIVE4 videos, has a lot of views.

Instant stream sharing

Our mission is provide to user simplest way to share stream to his friends, or to everybody.

So Petro asked me to test new implemented “Zhuker type” sharing logic.

Now workflow of “Instant stream sharing” looks like:

I think we should give to user link and FB share window, before stream will be started.

So, user will do next:

1. User tap on “Start and Share LIVE” -> FB sharing menu opened

2. User writing a post and tap on “Share” -> Stream starting automagically

3. User can start do something interesting from the first second of video!

4. App waiting until 1mb of files uploaded and sharing post with 10 sec delay.

I think this will works much user friendly not only for user but for watcher as well.

Also when my video was shared by “Zhuker type” logic, i didn’t see any confirmation. It’s not understandable for user, what’s happen?..

I think we should show to user view that tells “You stream is LIVE and Shared to FB!” and show timer, like in

FB Sharing menu provide us to share post to FB Pages and Groups. It’s awesome, but It’s doesn’t work!!!

When it will be fixed, i will can share most awesome moments instantly to LIVE4 Groups.

When i choose this option, it looks like i shared post with “Privacy options” — Visible just for this^

The same with sharing to user, like @Petro, or @Alex. This post will be shared with visibility just for tagged user. But user is not Tagged, and doesn’t see notification… I think…

But there is few bugs to fix, before release…

After broadcast stopped and successfully uploaded, unfinished broadcast showed.

Crashes:

• GoPro4 streaming crash seems fixed, but i’m testing more
• Crash on relogin from Twitter acc to Facebook(looking for STR)
