“Blockchain Magazine for Experts”, a series initiated by SBS CNBC began to gain the valuable insights on the sudden attention that Korea draws towards blockchain technology. Blockchain industry has no end. It has penetrated in fields such as finance, healthcare, gaming, logistics and so on and so forth. The boom happened last year as the value of Bitcoin rose skyrocketed. This program will focus on how Korea aims to be the leader in the blockchain industry as many companies and startups are heavily investing and recruiting fresh new talents . To discuss this revolutionary change, SBS CNBC has curated experts who will give a clear understanding and answer a lot of questions in the field of cryptocurrency trends in Korea. Along with our CEO, Henry Kim, another prominent blockchain expert Prof. Hoh Peter In who heads the department of Informatics at Korea University were invited!
The broadcasting will have about 5–6 episodes. The first episode was aired on the 10th of October at 11:00 pm! During the first episode basic questions that were raised were —
“ How will blockchain change our future?” “How will the finance market be transformed with virtual currency?” “How will transactions happen without a middle man?”.
In the first episode, the real story of “blockchain rise in Korea” and stories covering on the success and failures of ICO’s and investors were discussed upon. CEO, Henry Kim and Prof. Hoh Peter In dug deep in this discussion and had a heart to heart conversation to really understand whether blockchain really is a bubble or a future trend.
