LIVEEN ATTENDS CRYPTOCURRENCY SEMINAR ORGANISED BY THE AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE KOREA
The American Chamber of Commerce Korea organized the “Cryptocurrency Seminar 2018”. It was held at the Grand Hyatt Seoul on the 6th of September.
LIVEEN attended as a major partner for the event alongside Cumberland, EVI, Jooyon, Dunamu and Grand partners included digitalbits and Pundi X.
In this seminar, leading blockchain and tech companies gathered to talk about “How to Use Cryptocurrency In Your Business”. Speakers came from a diverse industry such as finance, legal, insurance and government background such as Intel, Upbit, KT mhows, Block.one, Pundi X, Kim & Chang, 12SHIPS, DigitalBits, Dunamu, Sysgear, Evigation, Chairman of AMCHAM Korea, National Assemblymen, Jeju Special Self-governing Province, Chairman of the the Board of Governors and Blockchain Economic Forum Asia Pacific Chapter.
Jeffrey Jones, Chairman of the Board of Governors, AMCHAM Korea stressed upon the need for government regulation on cryptographic money. “If the government creates appropriate regulations on cryptocurrency, fraudsters will disappear, ”Jones said.
AMCHAM organised this event to increase the understanding of South Korea’s cryptocurrency market and to find ways to establish blockchain system and activate technologies.
The highlight of the seminar was the Pundi X booth. The team demonstrated their cashless payment using a PUNDI XPOS. Pundi XPOS is a device that supports payment from both cryptocurrency wallets and traditional mobile wallets. Every attendee received a XPASS card, 2000 NPXS token was inserted on activating and paying we each received a special gift! And voila the payment took about 3 seconds!
The seminar ended with a note of incorporating corporate social responsibility(CSR) in business practices!
