Mary Cameron Rogers is an actress as well as a LiveMe broadcaster. She recently attended LiveMe’s second annual Global Gala in Taiwan.

Every year thousands of aspiring entertainers move to Los Angeles to pursue their goals, whether it’s appearing in a Hollywood movie, building a successful modeling career, or any of the opportunities the City of Lights has to offer. For Mary Cameron Rogers (MC🌹), living out her dreams in Los Angeles eventually led her to find a different kind of starring role: “LiveMe broadcaster.”

Ahead of LiveMe’s second annual Global Gala, which celebrated top broadcasters and their fans from all around the world, we talked to Mary about growing up in a small town, how she became involved in the entertainment industry and LiveMe, and what she was looking forward to at the big event in Taiwan.

The Beginning: Before LiveMe

Mary, who was adopted at a young age, grew up in a small town in North Carolina. “I feel very thankful for my family as they have always pushed me to chase my dreams and I wouldn’t have traded my childhood for anything,” she said.

It was those dreams and the support she received from her family that led Mary to pursue the performing arts. She trained at her craft extensively, taking classes and courses in theater, film, and modeling. “I have always had a huge imagination and interest in the entertainment industry and the art of film,” she said. “Writing scripts, creative directing, acting in films, beauty, travel, doing my own stunts and going to watch theater plays in London are a few things that I love.”

Mary, who has over 47k followers, hopes to inspire others through her career and her LiveMe broadcasts. “I’ve always wanted to be an inspiration for others and encourage those around me to be the best they can be.”

After making her film debut in the short film Si Loin and learning everything she could through the Carolina Film Community, Mary decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue her career.

Discovering LiveMe

While Mary only joined LiveMe eights months ago, she’s quickly become a top broadcaster in the United States and currently has over 47,000 fans on the platform.

When asked why she was drawn to LiveMe, Mary cited the sense of community she experiences on the platform. “I love being able to connect with people around the world and gaining more knowledge with different cultures. It inspires me to create projects that I know I can make an impact on those who are by my side supporting me,” she said.

Why LiveMe?

As an aspiring entertainer, Mary uses Instagram to share her professional and personal life, but her presence on LiveMe is particularly special because she can directly connect to and interact with her fans.

“I absolutely love my connection with my fans on LiveMe. Without them, there would be no MC🌹. They push me to become better and love hearing about anything and everything,” Mary said. “They have the biggest hearts and I’m so thankful for the fan base that I have built because they are my tribe of angels. I want the best for them and I’m so honored to have them always supporting me.”

What’s Next?

Mary has a busy year ahead, as she’ll be working on many new projects. She has a role in an upcoming film featuring The Social Network and The Amazon Spiderman actor Andrew Garfield and plans to travel in 2019 while continuing to share her work and inspiring others “to keep wholeheartedly chasing their dreams.”

As for the Gala, Mary was looking forward to meeting her fellow broadcasters from around the world.

“I am excited to meet others that are recognized for their passion they have put into LiveMe. I honestly don’t know what to expect at the Gala, but what I do know is that everyone I have met through LiveMe is very impressive, fun, and has a lot of passion,” Mary said. “I can’t wait to create memories and create magic throughout this platform.”
