Livepeer.com

Livepeer.com is a new web site focused on speaking to potential video industry users of the Livepeer network. It educates video companies, enterprises, and application developers about the benefits of using the Livepeer network and gives them a clear path to get in touch with the company Livepeer Inc, who can help them get started with easy to use products and services built on Livepeer.

One of the communication challenges in a project like Livepeer is that it’s important to speak to both the supply side, who keep the network running and effective, and also the demand side users of the platform. However, while the supply side users are interested in things like cryptocurrency, token economics, node operations, GPU mining, and open source community, the demand side users may not care about any of this and instead just be interested in scalable, reliable, cost effective video transcoding.

Livepeer.org will continue to serve as the homepage for the project. It will give an overview for each audience, and direct traffic accordingly for those interested in the token and operating on the network, open source video and blockchain development, or enterprise transcoding services. It is also undergoing a redesign and will be updated soon.

Livepeer.com, while still just a single page site right now, can focus exclusively on the demand side, and speak to the video industry in terms that they understand, without distracting them with blockchain, cryptocurrency, and all the other aspects of the project. If you know someone who is building, or has an existing video streaming application, who can benefit from Livepeer, please point them at Livepeer.com and have them get in touch via the signup form.
