Over the past few months, we’ve added a bunch of new features and improvements to The Livepeer Explorer. In this post I highlight a few of them and share what’s coming up.

New Features & Improvements

1. Mobile Support

Tokenholders can now stake, vote, and explore orchestrator campaigns directly from their mobile device.

3. Voting

The new voting feature allows tokenholders to create polls for proposed LIPs, discover active and past polls, and cast staked-weighted votes. Read more about Livepeer's first governance poll here.

4. Coinbase Wallet and Fortmatic Support

We’ve added two new great wallet providers, Fortmatic and Coinbase Wallet.

5. Orchestrator Fee Visibility

Since the Streamflow upgrade, Livepeer has been gearing up for an increase in fees being paid out to orchestrators. The Explorer now provides visibility into these fees generated by orchestrators and gives delegators the ability to withdraw their share of them from staking.

6. Orchestrator View Sorting

Users now have the ability to sort orchestrators based on fees, reward cut, fee cut, calls, and name, making it easier to evaluate orchestrators to stake towards.

7. Round Status Widget

We’ve introduced a “round status widget” for looking up how much time is left in a round, how many remaining blocks are left, and whether the current round is initialized.

Looking Ahead

During this time, we’ve received lots of additional feature requests and suggested improvements. Here are a few you can look forward to in the near future.

  • A more intuitive process for switching stake to another orchestrator
  • Orchestrator off-chain pricing info (how much orchestrators charge per pixel for transcoding services).
  • A new home page with a focus on marketplace dynamics and network statistics
  • Optimized page load times
  • A historical view of your earnings (LPT & ETH) per round
