Over the past few months, the Livepeer community has grown tremendously. The number of new community members each day has increased from ~5 to sometimes 20 or 30. An abundance of useful resources created for and by the community has come along with this growth. From video tutorials to newsletters to bots to guides, here’s everything you need to stake your LPT.

The Community

Join Discord — The team and our community admins are all available on Discord to answer any questions you may have about how to get, stake, and unbond your token.

Community Calls — Every other Thursday at 12 pm EST, we hold a community call led by our CEO and community members. This is a great time to join, ask questions, or just listen in. Here is a playlist of previous community calls.

Tools

Scout. A data analytics tool that shows you the current economics of the protocol, such as the amount of token in supply, inflation rate, and more.

Livepeer.Studio — Community member Adam Soffer created this awesome alerting app where you can sign up to receive email alerts with your earnings and keep tabs on how your transcoder is performing.

Telegram Bot — Community member vires-in-numeris created a telegram bot. By sending “history” followed by the transcoder address, the bot will show you the reward cut changes and the reliability of the transcoder (in terms of its reward calls) for the past 100 rounds!

Newsletter

Community member Nelson writes a weekly update newsletter with a few brief points on any changes from the transcoder. → Sign up here.

Tutorials

Staking Guide — written by me, it’s very long, but it is super comprehensive and explains terms and uses examples.

Staking Guide — written by Staken.io

Staking Guide — written by CoinMonks.

Staking Guide — Written by Staked.

Video Tutorials — This Livepeer playlist shows you what staking is, how to use the explorer, and how to choose a transcoder through a series of 1-minute videos.

Chinese tutorials — Community member Anson Lau held a competition in Chinese and many people created awesome work that can help you stake your LPT. More of these resources are in the Chinese community discord.
