A Christmas Carol was a hit at St George’s Hall says theatre-company’s Managing Director — Clare Scott.

It was performed by Ginificent Productions between the 21st and 23rd of December.

The company has been performing Dicken’s masterpiece for over 14 years and St George’s Hall was a first and exciting experience for them.

Mrs Scott says, “the production is fun and interactive and was a must see for the whole family.

“The adaptation changes every time, meaning each show is different — it was worth the watch even if you’ve seen it before.

“We are trying to create a bigger theatre company and St George’s hall is the biggest venue we have hired so far — marketing has recently been successful, so we gained a full house every night.”

The production ran for around two hours but was worth it — the set and soundscape made for an excellent show and a memorable experience.

Attendee, Susan Parker says, “the production was definitely better than the previous production I have seen, even though the production I previously saw was amazing.”

Mrs Parker has previously been a drama teacher, and continued to say: “the acting was superb and the performance was a theatre masterpiece.”

Tickets range from between £11 and £22 and there will be more chances to see the production in the future.
