Growing up, I absorbed the narrative that if I wasn’t perfect, then I wasn’t worthy as a human being. I felt I couldn’t be successful, or worthy of love if I wasn’t perfect. Throughout my life, I learned how wrong that mindset is, but completely shaking it is still an ongoing process. Because where has perfectionism gotten me?
