Wednesday, April 27th | 6:30–8:30 pm | Barnard University, Held Auditorium (304 Barnard Hall)

Climate change stands to exacerbate, or in some way affect, every environmental and social issue that we currently face. Students in the interdisciplinary seminar course Environmental Leadership, Ethics and Action have spent the semester researching topics ranging from built environments and synthetic biology to hydrofracking, GMOs, food transportation, corporate responsibility etc. They are now sharing what they have learned with you! Prior to the work of the ELEA students, guest speaker Michael Burger, Executive Director of the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law, will provide opening statements. Join them for a panel presentation to discuss the challenges and opportunities that come with life in a climate-changing world.

Participating students: Joud Al Shdaifait, Channing Corbett, Rachel Harrus, Rashi Jain, Gizem Karagoz, Micaela Naibryf, Shruti Parikh, Christine Pries, Sofia Rosenberg, Nathaly Santana, Anna Stoneman, and Max Vieira.
