7 Aspects of my Daily Routine that Amplify my Productivity
Some of these tasks may surprise you
I consider myself a pretty productive, proactive, and organized person. Of course, no one is perfect. But for most of my adult years, I have worked between 1 to 5 jobs at a time, so figuring out time management has been critical.
Some people seem surprised to hear I often work multiple jobs at once as they think it's an impossible task. As I’ve reflected on how I’ve been able to manage these different streams of income, I’ve realized a lot has come down to my daily routine.
This is going to look different for everyone (obviously), but I’ve found there are seven things I do nearly every day which help me maintain a good schedule and keep a clear mind each day.
In no particular order —
1) Gym
First, I go to the gym. For me, it works best to do this first thing in the morning before I have time to talk myself out of it. I typically don’t feel motivated to go to the gym when I wake up, but I know that I will feel so much better if I work out.
Working out gives me energy, clears my mind for the day, and keeps my body healthy (especially because my work involves so much sitting).
