Crying, the Perfect Cleansing Agent

November Prompt — Living Out Loud

Heart heavy,
Mind foggy,
Wondering where am I going?

Thoughts clustered,
With no direction,
Leaving me lost and tired.

And then my heart lets go,
And the waterfall of tears begins.
Crying is the perfect cleansing agent,
As now my heart can breathe.

Sometimes everything feels too much,
And your heart needs to vent.
Maybe after the internal storm fades,
We can clearly see the road of our fate.

Let it all out,
In private or with a friend.
But don’t keep your feelings within.
As we all deserve a day for self-care,
And crying indeed, is the perfect cleansing agent.

Was inspired to write about this prompt and just let my words flow. I nominate Suma Narayan, Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, Monoreena Acharjee Majumdar and Hamsalekha for this prompt as I feel you wonderful souls will have an interesting take on this prompt.
