Stars That Are On Fire

A story for the Ages

They gathered outside

watching as the stars fell

those burning gases

lighting lines across the side.

Throughout the world,

people gathered watching as the stars burned,

it wasn’t a normal skyfall,

this was the mark

of the end

of time.

A dark moment in the universe

as the earth moved in its last cycle.

An endless cycle of dreams

fell as the stars burned,

life and death

turned into one,

as all those alive suffered

and all those dead beings rose once more

to bid the earth goodbye one

last time.
