This video was made to document a typical day-in-the-life of a slum community we’re working in for our sanitation project. The idea was to have my colleague Ryan and I spend 24-hours interacting with the community while spending the night with a host family in the slum. There was no plan beyond this; we just rolled camera and let whatever happened happen.
The name “3 Pounds of Rice” started as an inside joke about the insane amount of food we ate during our time there and wound up sticking.
