Vagabonding Images
May 2017 marks seven years since I moved abroad to explore an expat’s life in Asia, first in Cambodia and then India. During that time I’ve visited some 25 countries: United States (where I hail from, which is kind of cheating), Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Ukraine, Russia, India (where I live and work currently), Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mali, Tanzania, South Sudan, United Arab Emirates, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama. Some of these I have been fortunate enough to visit multiple times now.
Each country has its own unique qualities and underlying aesthetic that makes it stand out and be a stand alone experience. The following images are from travel these past seven years, and attempt to capture some of the qualities that made each experience so meaningful. I’ve broken them out by region to make it a little easier to digest; enjoy!
