A Better Way To Get Started On Instantgo
As part of the release of the latest version of the Instantgo app (1.24), the team has also completely revamped the way users register and start using the app.
A revamped registration process
The registration process has been streamlined to a maximum making it easier and faster for new users to join the platform. We have also updated the way new users set the prices they charge for both phone calls and texts now that the app currently supports both mode. We have also added a simpler way to register or login with a Facebook account. Facebook accounts also have the possibility to be added to existing accounts as an alternative login option (effectively associating both methods).
Moving from category to discovery
The new version of the app has also changed the “category” tab to a new and refreshed “discovery” tab, paving the way for that aspect of the platform to offer better experiences to users in the future. We want to make sure people can easily find and access what they are looking for as part of the discovery process and continuously add option to make that discovery process more intelligent.
Setting prices for messages
In the previous update of our app, the team had also released a new way for users to be able to start charging for messages, chats and texts. The experience of being able to provide time and expertise through messages as an alternative channel to regular phone calls is a significant evolution. As part of this new rollout, users can now decide how much they want to charge for each message they reply to.
This new release of the app makes it also simpler for people to start those text conversations. Users can choose among all their contacts in their phone book and send them a personalized and unique message directly from within the Instantgo app. The chat experience has also been improved to work faster and more reliably.
Starting private messages
Another important change in this new version of the Instantgo app is a simpler process to start messaging someone privately. As soon as a user starts a new conversation, the system will let them choose if that discussion should be private or public. When the private option is selected, you can contact and text someone without having your name appearing to the other user. This is helpful when you need to ask confidential questions and want to feel free to discuss about complicated topics with others.
