A More Visual And Intuitive Approach To Ratings

The latest version of the Instantgo app (1.34) comes with a new color code for users’ ratings on the platform. Instead of using a unique color and differentiating ratings only on a number of stars, we are also adding colors to make it more visual and intuitive. The rating scale remains the same with a 1-star rating being the worst score a user can get and a 5-star rating the best score possible.

Visually the stars will change colors based on the following rules:

The star color changes based on the rating

The importance of ratings on Instantgo

The importance of ratings is paramount on Instantgo. First, it helps other users understand better the quality of your services and gives a layer of trust before initiating a communication or asking a question. Second, ratings play a large role in determining how you rank in the search results for each specific categories. The higher your overall rating, the higher you will rank. The number of ratings is also key so make sure users rate you after each conversation getting charged. The more ratings the better.

Ratings are available on premium conversations only

You can rate a user only when you have finished a premium discussion with them. This means that when two users talk or chat with each others for free, they can’t submit a rating. Users will see a pop-up appearing after each paying discussion where they will be able to rate the other user or decide to skip that step.

Ratings on questions

One of the latest feature available on the Instantgo app is for users to have the capacity to send questions directly to others through their profile or the questions tab. Using the question function also offer a number of different features which help users get the information they are looking for faster.

Instantgo offers great and efficient tools to ask questions and receive prompt answers

Similarly as for phone calls and chats, every time someone answers a question and charge for their response, the other user will be able to rate the quality of that specific answer. At the end, users can be rated for the quality of their communication, knowledge and answers over the phone, chats and for direct questions.

Quality of service is key

At the end of the day, what matters most is the quality of the service, knowledge and information you provide on Instantgo. Make sure you select the right categories to represent yourself and associate only the skills and abilities that match your expertise. It’s better to promote yourself on the aspects that you master rather than spreading yourself too thin on too many expertise which you don’t really possess. Choose wisely, perform great services and you will rank higher with better ratings and returning customers.
