A Recommendation Engine For Answers

The new version of Instantgo comes with a new Questions feature. It lets users ask questions through the platform more efficiently. It also comes with an artificial component to recommend who might be the best person to answer a particular question you have.

A better way to ask questions and track answers

Using the new Questions feature, users are now able to ask questions to others more rapidly. As soon as you click on “ask a question”, you can type your question and get suggestions not only on the words you are typing but also on the complete question you might have in mind. We want to create the best knowledge tool to rapidly ask a question and receive responses.

As soon as you send a question, you can easily track in the phone panel if you received an answer to it. Instead of having to remember who send you an answer or going to your ‘sent’ inbox to try to figure out to whom you did send a question, you simply click on the ‘answer’ tab within the app and see who still need to respond to you.

Smart recommendations

Not only the system makes it more practical to do something as simple as asking a question, it also offer smart and powerful recommendations.

Whenever we want to ask a question, we usually think about who is the best person to potentially answer it. We have a mental picture of who that could be. The issue with this process is that we tend to forget other people of our entourage that might be better suited to answer a specific inquiry. It is also impossible for us to magically come up with ideas of other people we don’t know who could also answer that specific demand. The new version of the Instantgo app tries to offer an elegant solution to it.

Everytime you write a question with Instantgo, the system will look into your contact list and instantly recommend who could be the best person to answer your demand. Our communication platform understands the topic and nature of your question and can recommend some of your contacts who are probably talking about the same topic.

For example for something as simple as a movie, you might want to ask your friend Paul if the movie Y is good. Just before sending that question to Paul, the system will let you know that you might want to ask John who seems also to be discussing about movies in general and probably this one in particular. You might then remember that you respect John’s advice on movies more than Paul and rather ask him. The system helped you find a another source of information.

A global network of users

The Instantgo platform goes one step further by also offering you recommendations outside of your network. Many times, the best person to answer a question for us is not someone we know but an expert in their field. Instead of taking the mental shortcut of asking someone familiar, the platform makes it simple enough to contact someone out of our network and removes the barriers of doing so. The results of that process can be dramatically different as our access and field of information improve.
