We are happy to announce the release of a new version of the Instantgo app (version 1.44) which comes with a lot of many great new features. We quickly summarize here what’s new in this major update:
- Auto-recharge: users can now automatically add funds to their account balance and use them to place calls and other communications. Users can decide how much they want to recharge their account with and when should the automatic funding process take place (“refund $x when balance falls below $x”).
- Languages: you can now add the different languages you speak on your profile so users can see immediately if you can communicate in their language. You can add the languages you speak by clicking the “Edit profile” button in your profile.
- Attach additional pictures and media to your profile: we have added the ability to add pictures to your profile and even link them to external content. Once again, simply click on the “Edit profile” button and scroll down to the “media” section. You can also search and add your YouTube videos if more convenient.
- Categories are now global: users in different countries can now find you in a category on a global level. Users who are not in the same country will simply see “other countries” when scrolling down in a category. People in the same country still appear first before being presented with the rest of the users.
- Significant improvements to the video calls and their reliability have been made. It is now easier that ever to place and receive video calls and the quality has improved significantly.
- New balance system for payments: we make sure users have sufficient funds at all time before allowing a transactions to take place. Failed payments to provider is something of the past. It can no longer happen.
- Block free requests: we have created an option to remove the possibility for users to ask to connect for free. To do so, simply visit your settings and click on “Free connections”. You can then impede anyone from requesting you to connect for free in your profile. Going one step further, you can also remove the ability for users to ask you to pay for a chat they send to you. This prevent other users to ask you to pay for their chats with you. You can set this up also in the “Free connections” menu.
- Sending videos is better: we have improved the capacity to send videos when answering a question or a chat. You can also now record directly from the app a video and send it without ever leaving Instantgo.
