Music — Come Alive (Dry Bones) by Lauren Daigle

This is the ongoing journal of my personal awakening. Through up to date and un-edited realness, I hope to help you walk through your own awakening with more balance, love and ease.

I resolve
here and now
that I am getting better
even when I can’t see it yet
in my reality.

I determine
that I grow in strength,
in flexibility,
in countless other ways,
even when the growth is
not reflected with less pain.

The pain
it’s still here,
less than before.
Yet always a reminder
of the growth
that lays ahead of me.

I choose now
I do not evaluate my progress
based on the pain.
It does not reflect my progress.
It is simply a part of the journey.

I resolve
from this moment,
no matter how I feel,
I can dance.
Even when it doesn’t look like
my mental image of dance.

I trust
I can always dance —
can always find the movement
in any moment.
No matter how it looks.

Dance is how I keep going
through the pain.
Dance is how I create myself anew.
It is how I move through this temporary pain,
and step through to the other side
into my next evolution.
