Music — I’m Alive by Celine Dion

This is the ongoing journal of my personal awakening. Through up to date and un-edited realness, I hope to help you walk through your own awakening with more balance, love and ease.

I spent the next five days not sharing the first set of videos with anyone. I said it was because I didn’t have time to post it, but that’s mostly an excuse. On the fifth day when I finally sat down to share, I wanted to edit the videos. I wanted to take out only the snippets that I thought were the best, and remove the rest. Censor out my discomfort. The parts that are harder for me to watch because it feels like I’m not doing enough. Or when I’m making a weird face. Or it just feels wrong to me.

I spent an hour editing a 3 minute video!! Only to find out that my computer is outdated and won’t let me transfer it back to an MP4…so my dilemma was to spend who knows how long finding new software and starting over — or sharing them as they were. Un-edited. Raw and vulnerable.

I reached out to a trusted group to ask their feedback. And the overwhelming response was “share it un-edited!! We’re here for you, we support you!” Having their encouragement got me over the hump most of the way. I took one more step of uploading a video. Then put off sharing it for a bit longer still. Ultimately I took a leap, took a breath and pressed that “post” button. Knowing there was a safe landing in a small group on the other side helped, and even so at the last moment I had to give myself that final push to take the leap. And I’m so glad I did.
