My culinary adventure began at breakfast. Instead of firing up the energy-draining toaster, I didn’t heat the bread and I eat it fresh. In the late morning, for a low-energy snack, I choose a no-bake energy bar. The absence of electricity in the recipe was the main goal for me, and the result was a satisfying and protein-based bar, perfect to keep me going through the daytime.

The slow cooker became my best companion for the rest of the day. I planned both lunch and dinner, put everything in the pot and cooked all in once. The benefit of the slow cooker is that it allows for long but low-energy cooking, resulting in a flavourful dish without straining my 4kW limit.

In conclusion, this day of culinary exploration within the confines of an energy budget was an eye-opener. It taught me that with creativity and the right cooking methods, it’s possible to relish delicious, energy-efficient dishes. It will be helpful for everyone if we applied this approach to everyday life, it’s only a routine question. Easy? Definitely no.
