Today I used the washing machine after 10 days

The washing machine is one of the most energy-consuming household appliances, especially if you use it several times a week without filling it completely. I moved into my new house in milan three weeks ago, and the washing machine in this house can hold 9 kg (so a lot, in fact it is very large).
In the house there are three of us; I don’t know the other two flatmates because they have been here for two years, while I have just arrived. Gradually I began to understand their habits, and I noticed that they do their laundry separately, and each one of them uses it at least twice a week (so they do at least 4 washings a week).

Since we were assigned the task, therefore, I immediately thought of asking one of the flatmates if she would be willing to do the washing machine together, both to optimize time and to consume less.

The result? Today is the first day we have used the washing machine in 10 days!!! In addition, we decided to do the short wash, strictly at 30 degrees, which takes less than 1 hour, instead of the usual 2/2.30 hours.

Only 5 mins left. Short Program has been used, 30 degrees

In addition, considering that depending on the days of the week and times of the day, peaks in demand for electricity have been detected, cost bands have arisen to save users money.

There are three bands:
Band F1: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. This is the band in which prices related to energy consumption are highest, because demand is highest.
Band F2: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.; and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. This is the band where prices are somewhat cheaper.
Band F3: Monday to Saturday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.; and Sundays and other holidays, all day long. This is the band where you can save more than the other two.
Therefore, we started the washing machine at 11:05 pm; in this way we also saved on the bill!
