Big savings on smartphones, headphones, TVs, and more

Another day, another tech round-up. There are some good savings today, especially if you’re in the market for some noise-cancelling headphones or a new TV.

No frills or fancy intro, let’s just dive into the deals.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G Unlocked — $1,599 ($280 off)

Probably the biggest savings of the day goes to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 with a whopping $280 off the list price on Amazon. The third generation of Samsung’s foldable smartphone is the most viable yet, with improved durabilty for the screen and functionality.

The Verge, in their review, said, “the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the best possible case Samsung can make for a phone that unfolds into a small tablet.”

This is the first major price cut on the device, and it even includes a case that stores the S-Pen.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G Unlocked — $850 ($150 off)

It should be no surprise that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G is also on sale today, and you can save a whopping $150 on it. The Z Flip 3 is the more appealing option, in my opinion, because it greatly reduces the pocket space the phone takes up. It’s also in a more comfortable price range than the Z Fold 3. And at $150 off, it’s even cheaper than even many other flagship devices.

Sony X950H 55-inch TV — $950 ($250 off)

4K TVs continue to get cheaper, and now you can even get a top brand like Sony for under $1,000. The X950H is a 55-inch 4K TV with all the bells and whistles you would expect.

It’s a Smart TV that supports HDR, Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced, and Netflix Calibrated Mode. That means the image is going to be bright and vivid no matter how your using the TV. The dedicated game mode also improves game performance.

The X950H also supports Alexa as well as AirPlay. For less than a $1,000, you’re getting a lot and future-proofing your TV for a long time to come.

Apple MagSafe Battery Pack — $83 ($16 off)

You can save $16 on Apple’s MagSafe battery today as well. I’m personally not a huge fan of it, but if you’re an Apple fan boy this is probably the best deal you’re going to get on it in a while.

The Apple MagSafe Battery is the company’s own portable powerbank, and it wirelessly charges your iPhone and holds firm with the built-in magnets (hence the MagSafe title). It’s perfectly fine, but it is not without it’s flaws.

But for $16 off, there are certainly worse deals out there.

Crucial P2 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD — $84 ($26 off)

Building a PC is tough right now, especially since CPU and GPU prices are skyrocketing due to the ongoing shortages. However, you can still find some pretty good deals on other components, like this M.2 SSD from Crucial. You can save $26 on it today and get 1TB of storage. You’re getting some of the fastest read and write speeds available (especially if you’re upgrading from an older SSD or — God forbid — an HDD).

If you’re looking to make some upgrades to your PC and need a new drive, this is definitely not a bad option.

Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones WHCH710N — $78 ($102 off)

Lastly is this awesome deal on Sony’s WHCH710N noise-cancelling headphones. Despite the terrible name, this is actually a great price on a decent pair of Bluetooth over-the-ear headphones. They aren’t Sony’s most premium option, but it’s definitely the best thing you can get at $78. These bad boys are over $100 off today, so get them while you can if you want a solid headphone experience.
