Stop Worrying About the Future by Doing These 5 Things
Worry is part of the human condition.
We tend to live in the past or future.
The present isn’t something that we easily embrace. This is completely normal. But as time goes on and the shift into higher levels of consciousness increases, it’s crucial that we stay in the present moment as much as possible.
Worry keeps us trapped and hopeless.
1. Create manageable goals
I don’t know about you but for years I was addicted to worry.
To this day I still struggle with it at times. Worrying in some sick way starts to feel productive. Like you have all of your bases covered if you think of every possible obstacle. In reality, constant worry helps create outcomes that we don’t want.
To avoid constant worrying, create manageable goals.
When you focus on a few attainable goals, you redirect some of your worry energy. The goals you create should not be audacious. That’s for later once you’ve conquered your worrywart tendencies.
But for now, focus on small manageable goals like:
- Walking in the park twice a week
- Three 20-minute yoga sessions per week
