Chart has announced the successful commissioning of an LNG storage and regasification terminal in Jamaica that enables a 115MW power station to convert from diesel to natural gas using imported LNG as its primary fuel source.
The terminal, including storage tanks, manifolds, tank loading, vaporisation, boost pumps, boil off gas compression, and the operational control system, was engineered and built in house and demonstrates the company’s strength and ability in delivering complete turnkey solutions for major natural gas infrastructure projects.
