Deep South Entertainment is one of the largest music businesses in Raleigh, serving as a record label, artist management, event booking and more. It has managed artists from Marcy Playground to Parmalee. DSE was in charge of organizing all the music for this year’s N.C. State Fair, as well as the Governor’s Inaugural Ball. In this podcast, we sit down with Steve Baker, special events agent and singer/trumpet player of bands Bull City Syndicate, Captain & The Keels and BCS Express. Baker told us more about the history of the company, his involvement and where he sees the future of Deep South Entertainment.
