Alongside my jumbled thoughts there is always something i am pondering to do with music. From listening to and thinking about sounds i hear in other peoples music, to working out a cool rhythm for a part in a song or constructing a riff in my head while i’m walking to work. The music i create is the product of me experiencing being alive.

With my latest release (Collaborative Ego) i was trying to consolidate all of my inspirations at the time and find style of music i could use to better my technical ability with the instruments i had access to (guitar, bass, drums, keys), my song writing ability and also my production. The end product came out very psychedelic which kinda makes sense due to the attention i pay to developing wavy atmospheres to my songs and the fact that i am kinda in love with Ruban and Kody Nielson. I have a really good time mucking around with pedals, making strange warpy tones and throwing them around the place just because i can. This album is, in my opinion, the tightest body of work I’ve released but i am already ripping it apart in my head haha.

I plan for the next stuff i make to be less “songy” and more rhythm orientated. My favourite instruments to play are bass and drums at the moment so that explains the rhythmic vibes I’m picking up. Theres just something about how a bass guitar and some groovy drum beats can connect so I’m keen to explore that a bit more.
