Local Heroes Auto is excited to announce that we have teamed up with Amazon Services to sell some of our auto repair and maintenance services through them and their online website. This was an endeavor that took a few months to develop, and then to decide which services we would provide, and of course pricing. We hope that this will allow our current and future customers who need services and repairs on their vehicles to be able to shop on-line for those services, and the costs for those services are listed right there on the website as well. Early next year we will be rolling out the Mobile portions of our Amazon services which you may find convenient as it will bring auto repairs and services directly to your home or workplace.
Presently we are offering Amazon Services at all 3 of our locations, all of which have been approved by Amazon. Our employees have passed the Amazon background checks for training and certifications as well.
Why are we doing this you may ask? More and more we are seeing our customers purchase and bring their own parts for us to install, service and make repairs on their vehicles. They are purchasing more of their parts at many online retailers, such as Amazon, eBay, Napa, O’Reilly, Advance, Auto Zone, etc. Sometimes they buy them at their local Auto Parts Store and bring them in for us to install. People more and more are shopping on-line for convenience and price and this is a natural progression towards selling auto repair services on-line.

Pros receive these jobs via email and work with the Customer to confirm a final appointment day and time.
How do sellers qualify to sell services on Amazon?
Sellers must apply to sell services on Amazon and must meet the requirements listed below before they can apply. For additional information and program requirements, please see the Services Terms. Amazon limits the addition of new sellers in the Selling Services program to ensure customers are able to buy with confidence from all sellers on Amazon.
Application: Providers must pass our initial application process including business verification.
Background Checks: Providers must pass a business background check. For in-home services, individual technicians participating in the program must also pass background checks. Amazon runs a comprehensive check on each business and take into consideration the following:
- State and local business registration
- Liens
- Judgments
- Bankruptcy status
- National governmental restricted or prohibited dealings lists, including the Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC) Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List
Every technician that services Amazon customers in their homes must pass a criminal background check before entering the program, that includes:
