1. Tech team update

Game Dev Team Update

Core Gameplay.

Mission Accomplished! We tested and implemented a TOTALLY new card balance system developed by our new Game Designer ;) The result is ASTONISHING! Our team now OFFICIALLY loves playing THIS game — and so will you! Oleg lost two rounds to the AI virtual opponent and just can’t get over it!

What’s new? The new system brings a totally new set of fun gameplay, giving some cards tactical and strategic advantages over the other ones. Scores got 10 times lower, the fun got 10 times higher.

We’ll leave all the juicy details for our official Alpha Launch on 12 December. Did you apply to our Early Access program yet?

Daniel presents the new built with the generic UX/UI that is being replaced in one week time

In today’s team meeting, Daniel shared the details of his sprint results — a new Unity Built for UX/UI that will be used in future releases with our native look and feel.

JJJ Team update:

The JJ team is working on implementing the UX/UI polishing in progress of our marketplace prior to 30 November launch in order to align it with the new brand guidance. Plus, we’re testing and re-testing — this is something we can elaborate on (r.e. the Q&A) that our whole team did on the Rinkebey network — next week we’ll be doing it on the Ethereum mainnet.

A lot has been going on the visual side of the game as well as the marketplace. Our UX/UI designer Yaniv Sela produced stellar results, and the team is happy.

3. Partnerships and Business Development

A few days ago, we announced that we’ve formed a brand new partnership with DJ Soda, the popular South Korean DJ who’s performed at some of the biggest stages and festivals across the globe!

About DJ Soda

Hwang So-hee, otherwise known as DJ Soda, works under Highline Entertainment with a music label. She started her career in 2013, completing several tours and releasing music labels to build her “claim to fame.”

At the time of this writing, she’s amassed a massive 18 million+ social media following across platforms such as Instagram and Twitter, making her a powerful social media influence and voice in the Korean music community.

Partnership Details

DJ Soda is someone who’s not only gained traction online but also shares in our values, considering she’s extremely excited about the prospect of LOCG! Therefore, she’s the perfect fit to join the LOCGame metaverse!

We’ll be developing a brand new card character based on DJ Soda — this card will be a part of our rare Crypto Celebrities pack and will be sold on ProjectX, a popular NFT ETF platform, where users can purchase fractionalized NFTs of this card.

4. Marketing and Community

Early Access program:

We received so many requests and messages regarding the launch of the Early Access program application! Our Alpha 2.0 is now officially open for applications. The earlier you apply, the better your chances are to be selected to play the game!

New Community Ambassador Program

We’re pleased to let everyone know that we’re also working on a new Community Ambassador program. It will reward core community members who helped us in recent months, recruit regional ambassadors, create new structures, and provide improved incentives for our Telegram and Discord moderators. Stay tuned!

And you may have noticed Andria and Ngoc engaging with our members on Discord and Telegram on a daily basis this week. Expect more team members to join regularly to spice things up!!

5. News from Amsterdam HQ
