Kucoin Opens Trading for HRC20 LOC!
We are happy to announce that Kucoin opened deposits, withdrawals and trading for the LOC HRC20 token today. This marks the first exchange integration of a Hydra-based asset.
USDT Trading Pair
As part of our new liquidity strategy, we have requested Kucoin to strip down trading pairs from the previous USDT/LOC, BTC/LOC and ETH/LOC pairs to a single USDT/LOC pair.
This will allow us to consolidate traders, order books, volumes and market making inventory on a single powerful trading pair as opposed to diluting these among three weaker ones.
The outcome will be a much better trading experience for all parties. Not only will more orders at higher density be available. There will also be no more “price traps”, which result in expensive slippage and subsequent arbitrage by bots.
HRC20 Listing
This listing marks the first exchange integration of any Hydra chain based asset and therefore has a strong symbolic value.
Any LOC you trade on Kucoin as of today are HRC20-LOC, which means that they are swapped already and are part of the Hydra chain.
If you have swapped LOC already, you can send them to Kucoin for trading (as soon as you have HYDRA coins). Similarly, if you want to buy new LOC, you can withdraw them to your private Hydra-wallet for storage.

No loss due to the Kucoin hack
We are also happy to announce that anyone who held LOC on Kucoin prior to the Kucoin hack, has been refunded. This means that there is no asset loss and the LOC owned by the hacker are officially worthless (won’t be allowed to pass the swapping gateway).
