LockTrip Announces Official Mobile Apps Release
Over the past few months, we achieved a lot of milestones and tasks. However it seems like the deployment of the mobile apps on Android and iOS was the star among all; at least from the community perspective. We got questions about the stage of development on a daily basis.
As a result, we decided to do a small scale pre-release of the alpha version three weeks ago (only among our Telegram community). Several nightly builds were released soon after , addressing critical bugs and constant improvements as a result of feedback from our audience.
This pre-release was enough to bring the total download count to more than 200 already (Android + iOS).
The app also got an overall 5-star rating based on a total of 35 reviews!
Now, we feel ready for the next step:

What features are included in this version?
- Login with the same account that was registered on the web version
- Search for hotels/homes
- Reserve hotels/homes
- View hotels on the map
- Choose between multiple currencies (USD, EUR, GBP)
- Edit your profile
- Send messages
- Many other features you are used to from the web version
At this point it is important to note, that this is still an alpha version and some small glitches might occur. In such a case, kindly report to one of the admins of LockTrip.
The apps play an important role in lowering barriers for mainstream usage. Over the last few years, mobile usage increased rapidly and even surpassed desktop usage.
People want to be mobile and still have the same functionalities of the web version. Especially for customers, who travel frequently, it is of key importance to have a good mobile experience. Often they book their next stay on the way to the current one.
