It was official.
After 10 years of marriage, their relationship had drawn its final breath.
Clare could only cry as Jack walked out of the door with a case packed full of his things.
After months of cold silences and cruel jibes, the only thing that was left was the corpse of their love, ready for its autopsy as Clare analysed all the little arguments, all the things she could have done differently, and took them apart, piece by piece.
Still, it would never resurrect their relationship that had slowly bled to death with every fight and each cutting word.
