An unexpected sketch
A Drabble is a 100-word short fictional story. You’ve got to ramble with words and form a nice, intriguing plot.
Word of the day: Impishly
“Did you take my notebook?” Daphne inquired, her tone fraught with scepticism.
“Nope,” Tyler replied, grinning impishly.
She narrowed her eyes, scanning the room. Daphne spotted her notebook peeking out from behind his back. “Hand it over!”
“Why so serious?” Tyler teased, twirling the notebook. “I was just adding a surprise.”
Intrigued, Daphne opened it only to find a sketch of them, their arms linked, facing a majestic sunset. Her annoyance melted into a smile.
“Okay, you’re off the hook,” she conceded. “But next time, ask nicely.”
He winked. “Where’s the fun in that?”
“And besides, it worked, didn’t it?”
