A Drabble is a 100-word short fictional story. You’ve got to ramble with words and form a nice, intriguing plot.

Word of the day: Philosophical

Elara and her grandfather sat on the porch, sharing the silence, as the sun set over a quaint village.

“Why do stars shine?” she asked.

Her grandfather smiled with a sparkle in his eye.

“It is a philosophical question, my dear. Some say stars are souls, guiding us. Others believe they are just burning gases.”

Elara thought. "So, what’s the truth?”

“The truth is, it’s both simpler and more complex than we can imagine. Sometimes, philosophy teaches us to embrace the mystery rather than demand answers.”

She gazed at the sky, feeling the vastness of the universe wrapped around her.

The story is inspired by

drabble drop challenge and its associated word, “philosophical.”
