DRABBLE DROP | FICTION | LODESTAR GAZETTE
The Golden Hour
In the arms of October
A Drabble is a 100-word short fictional story. Neither less nor more than that, packed with hidden messages with the word of the day.
Word of the day: Teach
It was autumn. The weather was cool and breezy, with a magnetic air.
“What feeling do you get when you look at the leaves?” Alex questioned Nova.
“They exude an aura of change.” She spoke, keeping her head on his shoulder as if it were time to move on.
The couple had come to the park to relax and rejuvenate.
“The seasons always teach us before leaving.” Alex sighed, beaming.
“It is so nice to spend time like this with you.” Nova got up and kissed his cheeks.
The fall immortalised the moments and ingrained their names on the palette.
The story is inspired by Jessica's Quill drabble drop and the associated word “teach.”
