Dare to believe
Sally lay curled in a ball at the foot of her bed, sobbing and breaking her heart.
Sally’s mother walked into the room, sat beside her and soothed, “Talk to me Sally, let me help you.”
Sally opened her eyes, looked at her mother forlornly, and sobbed, “I wanted to ride the pony tomorrow but I’m too little and I’m too scared.” She broke down into hysterics again.
Mother gently smiled down at her five year old daughter and softly whispered, “Sally, if you want to ride tomorrow, you can learn to ride. You’re only limited by your own beliefs.”
