Who are you?

Am I me?

Are you you?

Is the me I think is me, really me?

Is the you you think are you, really you?

How are we sure we aren’t somebody else?

Somebody inside a costume of somebody else.

A method actor of the highest degree,

So into their role they don’t realize it’s a role.

An act.

A fake.

A sham.

Sometimes I’m not so sure of who I am,

If what I say is really me saying it.

If what I think is really me thinking it.

So I ask myself,

Am I me?

Are you you?
