Don’t let yourself get in the way of your own progress. You have to let go of parts of your old self in order for rebirth. Realignment and adjustment is necessary. It is in how you manage these things and create them that allows what will become of your life. Do not self sabotage or cut corners in life. Do what you can with what you have. Build and renew. Create and inspire. Be authentic. Be you.

Most of life is about taking responsibility for yourself and your needs so that you can be the kind of person you want to be. It seems like we don’t always know how to do that. More often than not, we make things out to be more complex than they truly are.

The biggest part about having a life is having control over it in the first place. Sometimes that can sound scary. Having to have control over your own life? I don’t know if I want to be responsible or meet deadlines.

Fuck that. That sounds like too much.

Why would anyone want to take control of their life? It is so much easier to just let it all go and have it figure itself out along the way. Let the chips fall where they may. That would be great. I mean what if you could just let go and have everything work for you?

Well what if everything did work out how I wanted it to in life?

What if I could do what needed to get done and let go of all the resistance too?

How can I do what I want and still make shit happen?

Let’s find out.

Not everyone has the chance to fulfill their dreams and goals in life because they’re either too scared, they don’t care or they’re simply too poor or lack the resources. It’s sad to think that not everyone has the same beginning but with the right encouragement, support and influences you can change how things end. It is important to differentiate between the factors that determine your chances of success in the field of passions, dreams, goals and ambitions. Whatever that may look like for you.

If you can find a way to start pursuing what you need and want out of life you’re more than halfway there. Now if you can find out how to get around the obstacles that life throws at you then you’ll really make things happen. One of the biggest obstacles in life is stress and it’s everyone’s worst enemy.

It is up to you to find out how to regulate your stress levels and make sure that your amygdala isn’t overworked when it comes to achieving and functioning in life. If your autonomic system is overrun by stress and anxiety then you won’t be able to function properly in life. Thus resulting in failure to operate at optimum performance. Of course not everything in life is about performance levels and adjustments needed in order to function, however if you have a large capacity for life and it’s potential then you’re going to need to learn how to adjust accordingly if and when necessary. Without doing so and regulating certain stimulation to the nervous system our brains will cause a “shutting down” function. These are also the same nervous response systems integrated within us responsible for our “fight or flight” mechanism.

This combination of reactions to stress is also known as the “fight-or-flight” response because it evolved as a survival mechanism, enabling people and other mammals to react quickly to life-threatening situations. The carefully orchestrated yet near-instantaneous sequence of hormonal changes and physiological responses helps someone to fight the threat off or flee to safety. Unfortunately, the body can also overreact to stressors that are not life-threatening, such as traffic jams, work pressure, and family difficulties.

So what does this have to do with taking responsibility and letting go?

How is this going to make my life easier and what can I do with this information?

In order to live a richer, less stressful and smoother way of life you’ll need to know how to take care of yourself, your needs, take control of your life and find out what is bothering you either via internally or externally.

By taking responsibility and taking control of your life you learn how to prioritize. Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs is a great place to begin. A good need that will help you regulate stress is finding where your limits lie. You don’t need to limit yourself entirely, just find where they are and work on seeing if you can increase your capacity or not. This will act as a testing field for your own “stimuli and response” feedback. Take notes and stay mindful. You will find answers in time.

This allows you to create an easier route to navigate by letting go and process what stresses you out once higher priority needs are taken care of. By finding your own balance in life you can truly start to live an easier life that is much more manageable. Now for everyone it is going to look a little differently considering not everyone is inherently the same. That’s one of the greatest parts. It keeps your life interesting. The fact that your journey is different from anyone else’s no matter how big or small. This will make it all the more while worth it.

If you don’t take care of yourself in life how will you be alright?

If you don’t let go of what’s troubling you then will it ever really go away?

If you answer these questions then what will happen?

The best part about all of this is that you do have the power to influence change in life. Imagine where that can take you.

I’ll see you guys next month.
