Born in 2017, the idea of Logion emerged in response to the challenges of decentralized finance and tokens economy development. The ambition was to strengthen trust in the blockchain and web3 ecosystem, often characterized by pronounced individualism. I aimed to facilitate the mass adoption of new value chains, particularly those based on tokens and other blockchain innovations. After several years of development, Logion has become a key solution in the digital economy, bridging the digital and legal worlds.

Logion on the way of tokenization

Logion is based on a general and flexible proof administration system, enabling the creation of ZKP (Zero-Knowledge Proof) certificates that economically and legally frame digital operations, with or without tokens. These certificates result from an exhaustive information gathering process, involving the certificate requester (token creator) and, if necessary, other professionals. This data is compiled into a digital dossier, the Legal Officer Case (LOC).

Each LOC is validated and signed by a Legal Officer, thus guaranteeing the accuracy of the information it contains. The resulting certificate, linked to a token, provides transparency on the LOC information (completed verifications, collected data, etc.) without revealing its content, allowing future token holders to understand their true value.

Data security within the LOC is one of our main priority. This data is stored in a private, encrypted IPFS, managed by our decentralized network of Legal Officers. When they take in charge a LOC, they do so in compliance with their legal and ethical professionnal framework, thus adding an additional layer of legal protection to our underlying technology. This places Logion in perfect compliance with strict data protection regulations, especially in Europe. In this, Logion is unique!

Access to certificate information is restricted, and what is not revealed is protected in ZKP mode. This method ensures that Logion can guarantee the economic and legal framework of a token while strictly respecting the law and the individuals who entrust us with their data. This flexibility allows Logion to certify a wide range of operations, from real estate to artworks, including tokenized company shares…

Logion on the supply chain trail

Logion’s impact is not limited to token certification. We also offer services for operations without tokens, following the same principles of rigor and security. This approach makes Logion particularly suitable for supply chain environments, ensuring secure data management and providing a certificate that attests to the reliability of the processes implemented.

A flexible and adaptable service

The general and flexible proof management mode preferred by Logion also suggests that it can be widely recognized worldwide, usable by different types of traditional jurisdictions or even digitized arbitration. We are working to make it even better adapted to any specific constraints.

Logion is blockchain agnostic and its certification process could be integrated into various environments.

Finally, it is important to emphasize that Logion does not aim to replace certification professionals such as notaries or judicial officers. On the contrary, we want to utilize their skills and their legal protection in the service of Web3. Logion opens new markets, perspectives, thus offering new opportunities for these professionals.

After many years of development, Logion now stands as a pillar of trust and legitimacy in the digital economy. We’re building a world of secure, transparent and compliant possibilities, essential to strengthening our constantly evolving, even revolutionary, digital society!
