The technical corner
Gerard and Benoit have upgraded the logion infrastructure a lot in the last three months and introduced some new features.
In reversed order:
- Start of fees implementation aligned on the token economy
- QR code implementation on our blockchain certificate
- Creation of new LOC templates
- Restricted delivery with all ERC20 tokens on ETH and Polygon
- Token records
- Restricted delivery on LOC collection files
- Restricted delivery for MP4 files
- Onboarding of Guest LLOs via on-chain voting (a first governance step)
- Experimental integration with iDenfy (ID management)
Furthermore, the last upgrade notice (April 3rd) brings specific changes:
- Similarly to Tokens Records files and Collections items files, we have added an attribute size to the LOC file record on the chain.
- The Storage Fee is now exposed via a Runtime API.
- An estimation of the Inclusion fees and Storage fees is now shown to the LLO before item (Metadata, File or Link) publication.
- We have very significantly improved app loading time by optimizing the number of requests to the chain and to the backend.
- We have improved the Collection Items navigation (no more paging on large collections).We are releasing upgrades for the following components (follow the links for detailed release notes):

💙 Protecting an NFTs auction for the United Nations with Retreeb, ethical payment solution.
Last February, logion was honored to protect the first 2 NFT auction for UNITLIFE / United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) at Paris NFT Factory from a collection of 174: certified origin, IP rights secured in recorded contracts, and HD digital artwork bound to the NFT, exclusively delivered to the NFT owner.
All this thanks to logion’s online and blockchain-based certificates, safeguarded by logion judicial officer: Sylvian Dorol.
Romain Verlomme-Fried, official auctionneer, regulated professional, manages the sale at this auction event.
Moreover, OpenGem (Franck Dupont and Damien Dupont) certified the smart contract at the source of the technical NFT minting.
For several months, 5 artists took turns to convert conceptual specifications into a real fresco of fiction. Originally from Venezuela and Spain, Jesus, Cristian, Juan, Martin, and Javier are all specialists and seasoned professionals in the world of video games. Their talents have been put to use on many triple-A licenses. This project is for them the opportunity to make art a pedagogical vector at the service of the world’s major issues.
logion and DeFi, a winning bet 💫
The logion team and the new DeFi Join protocol are working together to develop a real estate token that offers more guarantees for users and regulators.
Information, transparency and security are key elements required for the mass adoption of NFT supported by DeFi solutions. Combining their efforts, logion and Join would build an exemplary model.
The contribution of logion is obvious.
With logion Proof of Law, you can tokenise any Real World Asset or grant rights and obligations to any NFT in a permissionless and compliant way.
The Proof of Law, an asset, chain and jurisdiction agnostic Zero-Knowledge certification solution, enables a new legal and economic framework for the digital asset economy. By binding identities, rights, obligations it offers a legal protection removing the trust based relationship that exists between an issuer and the token holders.
By being updatable overtime, logion’s certificate can provide up to date information about an asset value, existence and ownership,protecting stakeholders during the whole lifecycle of a digital asset from minting to burning.

logion at ISE2023 — Spain 🇪🇸
Our project has been selected by the Walloon Economic Mission (AWEX) to represent the region’s expertise in blockchain and NFT.
ISE is the biggest Pro AV event of the world for disruptive industry technologies.
With our partner ARTTS which uses the logion certification to protect its NFT collections, David has met many people. These meetings open the way to new potential partnerships in Spain. The follow-up will be done at Casa Valonia in Madrid at the end of April.
Live at the EUIPO Journey in Alicante (European Union Intellectual Property Office)
Represented by Patrick Gielen, logion was proud to participate in February 2023 to the spanish EUIPO day and contribute as such to safe digital property within new digital environment.
Within interconnected society and economy (i.e. Web3), ability to protect people and business by delivering on-line legal certification is key.
That’s why at logion, we are designing a public, decentralized network & infrastructure, acting as an on-chain system of evidence record to protect people and companies rights, technically based on the rule of law principles : neutrality, independence, resilience, sovereignty.

Live from Paris 🇫🇷, Stéphanie Flacher and David Schmitz were honored to talk with the blockchain community of Alyra, l’école blockchain, sharing a vision of building a safe and smart blockchain real economy.
A big thanks to the talented Daniel Villa Monteiro for his moderation of the talk and a big thanks to the Alyra’s community for its clear commitment to really put the technology at the service of people (not the other way around…).
Introducing the “proof-of-law” and its immense potentiality to the WomenInWeb3 and Polkadot communities
Live from the Paris Blockchain Week in March 2023, Casey Joly and Stéphanie Flacher were honored to participate in the Women in web3 — WIW3 event co-hosted with Parity Technologies and the Polkadot community.
As presented by Casey, because logion is a public blockchain operated by an international network of legal officers, it provides any token or NFT holder with legal grade protection while bringing to the web3 fundamental principles of neutrality, independence, resilience and sovereignty.
The logion web3 on-line certificate is a unique way of binding property, rights and obligations to a token, whatever the tokenised asset.

This conference brought together developers, investors, and industry leaders from across Africa to discuss the latest trends, innovations, and opportunities in the Polkadot ecosystem.
This first edition would lead to the creation of a platform oriented towards networking, education, and collaboration in order to drive the growth of the Polkadot ecosystem in Africa and beyond.
The usefulness of blockchain for the African continent is huge. That’s why we wanted to contribute to this initiative. Benjamin represented logion on stage.
We announced it, logion will evolve quickier in 2023.
