Rally and Rally Plus does not come with a compute device (Windows, Android, etc.) in the box but can be bundled with the kit if desired.

The basic setup is as follows:

Meeting Computer at the Table

Meeting Computer at the Table

Meeting Computer at the Display

Meeting Computer at the Display

Two hubs connect everything, the Table Hub and the Display Hub.

The Table Hub is designed to be placed at the table in a conference room setup, and the Display Hub is designed to be placed behind or near the display. In addition, there is a single CAT6a cable connecting the two hubs, simplifying the need to run multiple cables across the room.

Note: The CAT6a Ethernet cable is included. Logitech supports customer-supplied CAT6a cables up to 164 ft (50 m)

The setup will approximate the following:

A dedicated PC is used; however, the Rally System could be used in a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) configuration, which I will discuss in a subsequent article. You will also notice that the above diagram includes the Logitech TAP, which provides simple conference control at the table. I will also talk about TAP in a subsequent article.
