Can I Deploy a Swytch With a Room System With Dual Displays?

The Swytch can be deployed in a room with dual displays. However, when the BYOD Laptop is connected to the system, only a single screen will be available as the Laptop will only have one available display.

There are two different behaviors of this — one for Windows-based UC Engines and the other for Appliance-based (Android) UC Engines.

Windows-Based UC Engine

In the above diagram, the main room system has the option of dual displays. However, the Laptop screen will only project to the display labeled HDMI 1. HDMI 2 will be dark.

Appliance-Based UC Engine

The following diagram can be found on page 39 of:

In the above diagram, the main room system has the option of dual displays. However, the Laptop screen will project to the display labeled HDMI 1 and be mirrored on HDMI2.
