The Logitech Rally Bar is packed full of features that will make any video conference have a better experience Logitech packages these features under the brand RightSence. The RightSence features include automatic light adjustment, audio enhancements, noise removal, and automatic framing. Logitech’s automatic framing technologies, or as they are often referred to, RightSight, enhance a meeting by automatically framing and zooming the camera either to groups, or individuals.

RightSight, includes a view called Speaker view. Speaker View zooms in on the person speaking and switches to the next speaker when they talk. This is also called Speaker Tracking. Group View is used when no one is talking. Only the Rally Bar and Rally Bar mini can utilize the Speaker View option.

How it works

The Speaker View feature of the Logitech Rally Bar significantly improves video conferencing by utilizing a complex combination of technologies that work together to focus on the current speaker. This is achieved through the integration of CollabOS operating system intelligence, onboard cameras, and beamforming microphones, which allow for individual speaker tracking. These technologies work in coordination to enhance the overall video conferencing experience.

This process involves:

Integrated Audio-Visual Localization:

The Rally Bar simultaneously uses its microphone array and camera system to identify and track the speaker. The microphones detect sound sources within the room, determining the speaker’s location through audio signals. Concurrently, the camera adjusts its aim and zoom based on this audio localization, ensuring the speaker is always prominently framed, regardless of their movement.

Dynamic Video Framing and Tracking:

The camera’s ability to pan, tilt, and zoom is controlled by advanced algorithms that respond in real time to the speaker’s movements. This ensures that the framing adjustments are smooth and seamless, providing a natural and engaging video conferencing experience without requiring any manual intervention.

Automatic and Intelligent Operation:

The Rally Bar’s system intelligently distinguishes between the speaker’s voice and other background noises, thanks to sophisticated processing capabilities like noise reduction and echo cancellation. This allows the device to focus on the speaker even in environments with ambient noise, ensuring clear and focused video output.

Seamless Integration with Video Conferencing Platforms:

Designed to enhance the remote meeting experience, Speaker View works effortlessly across different video conferencing platforms. This integration ensures that participants can focus entirely on the conversation, fostering a more immersive and interactive meeting environment.

Adaptive Processing:

The Rally Bar’s processing capabilities are not static; they adapt to the room’s acoustics and the meeting dynamics. This adaptability means that the Speaker View feature can provide consistent and focused video output, enhancing participant communication and engagement.

By operating dynamically, the Speaker View technology ensures that the Logitech Rally Bar can adapt in real-time to the flow of conversation, keeping the video feed centered on the speaker. This creates a more natural and engaging conferencing experience, making remote interactions feel more like face-to-face meetings.
