RightSight is a feature that adjusts the camera to show the best view of the room. RightSight 2 is an advanced version that shows individual speakers when they talk.

Let’s explain some terms related to framing:

Group View:

Group View shows all the people in the room in one shot. Rally Systems, Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, and the new Rally Bar Huddle can all do this. (See details for each device.)

Group View

Note: Rally Systems and Logitech Meetup need the Sync app running on the host device to use RightSight and other features.

Speaker View:

Speaker View zooms in on the person speaking and switches to the next speaker when they talk. This is also called Speaker Tracking. Group View is used when no one is talking. Only the Rally Bar and Rally Bar mini can utilize the Speaker View option.

Grid View:

Grid View shows each person in their window. Like Speaker View, it focuses on the speakers but can show more than one at a time within different squares. Grid view is in beta and available on the RallyBar, Rally Bar Mini, and the new Rally Bar Huddle.

You can take advantage of the Grid View feature if you’re using the Zoom Rooms Appliance along with Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini, or Rally Bar Huddle. This feature allows you to display up to five video streams simultaneously during a Zoom call. The first stream will show a comprehensive view of the entire room.

When using Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows, the Grid View feature on Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini allows for one video stream with up to four individual grids. This will not include a full-room view.

Enabling RightSight

Whether you use the USB-connected TAP or the TAP IP, the platform will determine which controls are available to the end user.

Regular users are not meant to access the option to enable various framing technologies, which can only be found in the settings. End users can only toggle framing on and off. With Zoom, the user has the ability to turn on and off multi-stream.
