What are the different modes of the RallyBar and RallyBar Mini?

The RallyBar can be used in three different modes.

  1. As a USB-based peripheral with a dedicated Windows-based Room System (Zoom Room or MSFT Teams). In this mode, the main system is based around the Windows-based PC. The HDMI input on the RALLY Bar doesn’t apply here because the PC is where one would connect to the HDMI. In this case, the TAP control also connects directly to the Windows device and the HDMI ingest not the TAP is also active.
  2. It can also be used as strictly a USB-based BYOD (Bring your own device) based room system. In this case, one would bring their own laptop into the room and connect to the RallyBar, and again the RallyBar would act as the peripheral.
  3. Lastly, it can work in Appliance mode. Appliance mode is when one uses the onboard functionality of the RallyBar to be a stand-alone room system. There are a few partners (or flavors) of this mode. You can choose if the device is a Zoom Room or a Microsoft Teams Room. (The device also does, PEXIP, Ringcentral, and GOTO Meeting).
