Here are the most important updates from the Logos team in August.
Alpha Implementation, Benchmarking, and Demo
The first full Logos prototype was completed at the beginning of the month. Under realistic conditions, the prototype was benchmarked with an average throughput of 17,000 transactions per second (tps) and an average latency of 2 seconds. This result is substantially higher than we were anticipating based on our (conservative) models, and it immediately positions Logos as the premier decentralized payments technology.

Carl Hua, Head of Engineering
A lead on core Logos protocol development, Carl brings deep engineering experience from NASA, where he has worked on safety critical software for Europa Clipper Mission.
